Question of the Day

In the car last night, MoJo (6 years old) out of the blue asked, “Mom, how come the people standing on the South Pole don’t fall off?”  I gave him a brief, elementary explanation of gravity which prompted the next question “So why don’t birds fall to the ground?”  I differed to his Father for that one.  Luckily we arrive home before it was my turn again!

  1. Calvin,

Why do kids ask so many questions?

Why do they always ask in the car, and typically when you’re trying to navigate heavy traffic or detours?

Why do they ask these questions 90% of the time when only mom is in the car so she can defer to dad?
