Their Mom sees that they’re out there.

You Scored an A
You got 10/10 questions correct. It’s pretty obvious that you don’t make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you’re annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they’re only human.
And it’s humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

A few days ago Fisherman announced, after he tried to explain to Baseball Boy the difference between nouns and pronouns, that it was going to be my job help our sons with their grammar homework.  I graciously accepted the challenge (as if I had a choice), gave a few examples and off Baseball Boy went to finish his language page saying “That was easy!”

Worried about my impending duties, I took The It’s Its There Their They’re Quiz.  I scored a perfect 10 and can now confidently proceed to help Baseball Boy and MoJo with their respective grammar homework assignments . . . unless spelling counts!

  1. My Princess is going to grandma’s tonight — GRANDMA gets to help with the homework (okay — it’s just listening to level A readers — but still one less thing for me to do).

  2. Um, Calvin? The correct spelling is “grammar”. I’m just sayin’. BTW, I think DH’s pseudonym should be Marlin.
